PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Ms. Long is a
respected member of the advertising, business,
entertainment and media sectors. She has created
marketing solutions and brand awareness for
businesses since 1983 through her agency,
Creative Concepts Advertising, Inc. Known for
innovative thinking and hands-on production across
all media platforms, she is passionate about helping
businesses and entrepreneurs develop their ideas and
niche them in the market.
PROVEN CREATIVITY
An award-winning
songwriter and broadcast producer, she is also the
writer of two books and six screenplays. In 2001 she
produced the world premiere of her musical, A Time
To Dance. Unfortunately, opening night was scheduled
for the ill-fated September 11, 2001, plunging her
into personal and financial devastation. The result
of her three-year "wilderness" led her to write the
groundbreaking book,
Wired For Creativity, and
establish Creativity Training Institute to empower
others.
EXPERIENCED LEADER IN ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT SECTOR
Winner of the
American Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award
for contributions to the Northeast Georgia
Advertising Community and for her commitment to
community service, Ms. Long has served as President
of Georgia’s Women in Film and was appointed by
former Gov. Roy Barnes to the Georgia Film, Video &
Music Advisory Commission. Internationally, she
served on the board of Women in Film & Television
International and was instrumental in branding this
global entertainment network. She currently serves
as President of the Georgia Branch of the National
League of American Pen Women, the nation’s oldest
organization for creative women headquartered in
Washington, D.C.
