Right-brained
individuals – or ‘creatives’ – are blessed with an
over-active idea stream. We typically start out
fine, only to be derailed by the onset of another
idea that captures our attention more, especially
when the going gets tough with regards to the former
idea.
This workshop will examine the actual process of
birthing (ideation) and implementing what we term
“inspired creativity.” We are not referring to
merely a thought that pops into the mind. Rather,
this is a “big idea,” one that becomes so
all-consuming that it morphs itself into an internal
“vision” or “mission.” We have tracked the idea
stream from inception to implementation...and
pinpointed where in this process many “creatives”
get derailed or de-motivated. You will be able to
see where your present ideas are in their
evolutionary process, and learn practical tools to
discern that idea’s chances for success.
The primary goal of this workshop is to help you
assess which ideas are meant to be acted on now, and
which are to be filed for later. This is typically
an informal workshop setting, where you will have
the freedom to discuss problems you may be having
with ideas currently in development.
There is great wisdom in the book of Proverbs that
warns us against wasting time on “worthless
pursuits.” This workshop offers very practical
handles to help you evaluate and discern which ideas
to go forward with and when.
