Author & CTI Founder |
Candace Long is a
respected member of the entertainment, advertising,
media, and business communities and is known as a
Biblical commentator on inspired creativity and
revelation.
She has worked as a "creative" for over 30 years. An
award-winning songwriter and radio & television
producer, she is also the writer of six screenplays
and in 2001 produced the world premiere of her
musical, A Time To Dance. Unfortunately,
opening night was scheduled for the ill-fated
September 11, 2001, plunging her into personal and
financial devastation. The result of her three-year
"wilderness" led her to write the ground-breaking
book, Wired For Creativity,
and establish Creativity Training Institute.
She is President of
Creative Concepts Advertising, Inc.
in Atlanta and has served as President of Georgia's
Women In Film, Vice-Chair/Communications of Women In
Film & Television International, and was appointed
by Gov. Roy Barnes to the Georgia Film, Video &
Music Advisory Commission. She also served as
President of the Atlanta branch of the National
League of American Pen Women, the nation's oldest
organization for creative women.
In the spring of
2008, she received the Master of Business
Administration from Kennesaw State University, where
she also received her Six Sigma Green Belt
Professional certification. |
